Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that affects 1 in 100 people every year in Aotearoa New Zealand. This condition can damage tissue and organs if not identified or treated quickly - resulting recovery or rehabilitation from physical, cognitive or psychological problems, or adapting to a new physical disability.
