Child Protection Leads for Play, Active Recreation & Sport

Safeguarding Children runs a webinar ​for Child Protection Leads or the Designated Person for Child Protection within play, active recreation and sport organisatons or groups. This 2.5 hour course will give you a deeper understanding of appropriate responses to child protection concerns by working through scenarios likely to arise in your sector.

Date: Thursday 12th March 2026.
Time: 9.30am to noon.
Location: Online.
Cost: $70 per person.

Safeguarding Children also offers a FREE Safeguarding and Child Protection for Sport e-learning course with support from Sport NZ. This course is designed for anyone who works directly or indirectly with our children or young children in either a professional or volunteer capacity within the sporting sector - such as managers, coaches, trainers, instructors, officials, or parents.
