Kaikōura Whale Run

Join this annual fundraising event for Kaikōura Suburban School. This is a fun run or walk open to all ages and fitness levels!

There are four distances to run or walk:

  • Half Marathon (21km);
  • 12km;
  • 5km; and
  • Marafun - for children 8 years and under.

Date: Saturday 7th September 2024.
Start Time: 9am for half-marathon walkers, and 9.15am for half-marathon runners. 9.30am for 12km walkers, and 9.45am for 12km runners. 10am for 5km event and 11.45am for the Marafun. Briefing at 8.40am.
Start Location: Kaikōura Suburban School (Schoolhouse Road, Kaikōura).
Cost:

  • 21km: $80 per person.
  • 10km event: $60 per person.
  • 5km event: $40 per person.
  • Marafun event: $15 per person.
